Who we are:

The Allegheny Bird Dog Club began in 1995 when a group of men and women sought a place to safely run and train their bird dogs. They were brought together by a shared passion for upland hunting and for the comradery and love of their dogs and sport. They wanted a club where they could sharpen their skills, train their dogs, enjoy hunting birds, and have a like minded community.

The club acquired over 100 acres just outside of Berlin, Pennsylvania and began meeting regularly. Overtime, it grew, and the club grounds gained several buildings including multiple bird pens and a storage building. It was primarily a training and shooting facility for club members.

As interest in the club grew, it began hosting chukkar challenges. These events proved successful as fundraisers and helped the club continue its training and hunting mission.

Overtime, as Covid struck the region, the challenges and events stopped and membership began to decline. Now, the Allegheny Bird Dog Club is determined to rebuild and have its renaissance!
