November Meeting Minutes
ABDC Meeting
11/12/24
Meeting called to order at 6:34 by Pres. Rich VanNosdeln
Officers: President-Rich VanNosdeln
Vice President- Kyle Tomlinson
Treasurer- Bill Boyd
Secretary- LeAnn Zimmerman
Attendance: 4 officers and 6 club members , Roxann Croner , Ron
Hillegas, Jeff Hoffman, Brian Karwatsky, Jeff Payne, Dillon Cotter and 1
possible new member Brad Walker present
Minutes of last meeting read over by those in attendance and approved by
all in attendance.
Old business:
Club grounds are still in need of posting
Insurance payment will be coming due in December
Discussed various games of chance to do as a fund raiser for the
club in
the future.
Also discuss traveling to other clubs through the winter to get
information and learn more about Chukar challenges
Discussed ideas of what to do to raise money for the club
-Bill had suggested a raffle at a past meeting, need to get the
details on that from him
-sporting clays shoot
Kyle has some info and is working on more info on the website costs
and details for the club
Obtained info about the clubs Facebook page from Matt, Kyle is
looking into getting that up and useable again as well
Rich got some info on chukar challenges from other clubs, would be
better to discuss at a meeting than to add to the minutes
Discussed a possible Spring chukar challenge, looking at April12th,
2025
Discussed a community day for the club, if any interest, getting some
birds for the club members / potential members to use that day
As of the meeting, no inquires on the club email
New business:
In case you all are not aware, Mr Fogle passed away Dec. 16 th . I
have sent a sympathy card to the family on behalf of the club. Do not
know how this will affect us in future, will have to wait and see.
At the beginning of December, Mr. Boyd has decided he will be
stepping down as Treasurer for the club. A very big thank you to him
for all the years that he has taken care of it. I currently have the
Treasurer info. At the next meeting we will be discussing / voting if
anyone else would like to step into the role.
Club grounds have been posted…..thank you Ron Hillegas and Dr
Payne
Insurance payment has been made. Payment had come down to
$753.00. We are good until 12/19/2025
Bill is to get info on the beer raffle for us, for a fund raiser. Looking to
do the raffle towards the end of January.
Rich has sent a deposit in for the chukars
Discussion on new member criteria.
